General Sherman is a Biggest Tree in the World!

General Sherman located in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park in Tulare County, California, is the biggest tree in the world. It’s a 275ft tall, 25ft of diameter and an estimated bole volume of 52,513 cu ft. It’s a very old tree. General Sherman is on this plnaet before the Jesus.

In 1931, following comparisons with the nearby General Grant tree, General Sherman was identified as the largest tree in the world and it’s named after William Tecumseh Sherman, an American Civil War general in the Union army.

Six years ago, due to a natural defense the largest of the tree broke off. So it’s a not the tallest, not the widest and not the oldest tree in the world but it’s size is volume.
